The infamous and beautiful Vespa mandarinia japonica, Giant Asian Hornet, Japanese hornet or sometimes unfortunately called the Murder Hornet. These misunderstood hornets are stunning in size and markings, the largest of all social wasps with a wingspan of around 80mm in Queens.
This is a rare opportunity to own a large Queen and Worker together, both showing excellent colours. These were old specimens sourced from honey bee keeper in Japan. All set and prepared by me, with attention to setting them in a natural pose with colour preservation.
