Rarely seen in collections, this pair of Nicrophorus sp. Burying beetles is a great piece for any collector. Nicrophorus work on pairs to bury small dead animals where they create a nest and freed their young.
These are old specimens originally from Ukraine which I was using as reference material. There are several available and the exact species of Nicrophorus will vary but they all look extremely similar as the photos show. I have cleaned up, set and framed them for a new life.
These are mounted on pale grey with matching pale grey mount.
